Wearlon® 2020.98H

2020.98H

Product Description

2020.98H's Anti-Friction chemistry is designed for maximum abrasion resistance and reducing heat buildup due to friction. It acts as a permanent industrial dry lubricant, mainly used in the stretch-forming of metals. Its nonstick attributes provide release without the use of sacrificial oils, waxes, or other release agents. 2020.98H can be touched up and re-applied any time while in commission.

Uses

  • Stretch-forming

  • Abrasion resistant applications

These are just a few examples of current uses

What Differentiates 2020.98H?

Wearlon® 2020.98H is our most abrasion resistant coating. It is different from other friction-reducing coatings because it is as easy as applying a standard house paint and cures at room temperature. When cured it is very flexible and durable and does not chip or peel. Many other coatings with similar anti-friction attributes may require special techniques to cure, like high heat.

Why 2020.98H?

Looking for a coating to protect and prolong the life of your equipment while also increasing efficiency in the workplace? 2020.98H reduces cycle time, saves labor costs, eliminates oil/solvent and hazardous material disposal, reduces variation due to oil viscosity and usage, and eliminates oxidation of aluminum and plastic dies.

Does 2020.98H Need a Primer?

Wearlon® 2020.98H can perform for years without a primer. More often than not, this coating is purchased without a primer because of how durable it is, even when applying a thin coat.
