Wearlon® Super F-2M            - Tough Boats -

Wearlon Super F-2M is used on boat bottoms that require the highest abrasion resistance coupled with low coefficient of friction. Crafts such as swamp boats and others that are used in shallow waters have found great success with Wearlon Super F-2M. Wearlon Super F-2M has the highest abrasion resistance of all of the Wearlon coatings. Boats that are frequently in contact with grass, sand bars, rock, and other abrasive surfaces are using Wearlon Super F-2M because of its extreme durability. Additionally, the slippery surface provided by the Wearlon Super F-2M provides better glide and less drag on the boat while protecting the boat from extreme scuffing of the bottom surface. Wearlon Super F-2M has especially proved to be superior to conventional hard epoxy coatings used on boat bottoms in terms of reduced drag through water, easy clean-up, and anti-fouling.

Wearlon Super F-2M is a much harder coating than Wearlon Super F-1M, and has better abrasion properties. Wearlon Super F-1M has a higher mole percent of silicone, and therefore has better bio-film and anti-fouling properties when compared with Wearlon Super F-2M.
